WHERE: Hansen Nature Center, Tinker Park, 1525 Calkins Road Rochester, NY 14534

3 classes plus a field session working bees in the apiary; LIMIT 24 participants

FEE: 115.00, includes text “Keeping Honey Bees” by Sanford/Bonney, hand-outs; the text will be sent to you
For students, 50.00; name of school and grade level required

WHEN: Meets Saturdays from 9:00am to 1pm

Class 1-- Introduction to bees; February 1

Class 2- Working with bees, and Diseases/Pests/Predators, March 1

Class 3- Your Growing Colonies, and Honey Harvesting, April 12

Field day TBD, dependent on weather (required to receive an optional certificate)
