WASPS come in different sizes/shapes/colors

From late July into Fall wasp populations increase, creating large nests. This continues until hard frosts, which kill them. Only the queens survive the winter and then begin new nests in the Spring from scratch. To the left are photos, some from people who have called wanting "bees" removed --all the photos are of WASPS.
Honey bees DO NOT nest in the ground or build gray nests nor do they have bright yellow stripes.
